My only regret about the uphill fight for the crews to have nose art was that I didn't foresee at the time that we would need the aircraft tail number somewhere in the actual nose art. Making that a requirement/condition would be the only thing I'd do differently. The rest of the "challenge" was fighting with the MAJCOM's, coordinators, and the "interpreters" of the regulations and technical orders. This challenge was actually a welcome diversion at the time.

This picture was presented to me around 1992 as the 4950th Test Wing was dissolving and I was leaving for a new job in Area B in the research and development area of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
